“Gypsy Lane” is a collection of solo acoustic guitar pieces that I wrote and adapted during my travels across the UK with the FREE SPIRITS show. Jonathan Marshall is a seasoned singer-songwriter and accomplished acoustic guitarist with over four decades of experience. His fingerstyle playing—shaped by blues, jazz, rock, classical and flamenco influences—underpins a rich catalogue of original songs and evocative performances. From fronting bands across the UK, Canada, the USA and Australia to crafting heartfelt solo albums, his music blends intricate guitar work with thoughtful storytelling that resonates with listeners across genres.
